Our business is the delivery of solutions to industrial, utility and commercial customers who utilize automation, control, energy, complex processes and computerized systems. We support the manufacturing, food processing, service, pharmaceutical, chemical, aerospace, aggregates and utility sectors and deliver a wide range of automation services, such as new projects, retrofits, upgrades, electronic repairs, electro-mechanical repairs, site services, product sales, condition monitoring, energy audits and saving schemes, and asset management/stock control.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide support to clients with automation equipment across the UK which will involve routine support and maintenance, preventive maintenance, systems backups and supporting level documentation
  • Execute projects from initial user requirements, design and installation through to final sign – off and handover. The projects are likely to be PLC –based, MMI, SCADA or DCS and will vary in size and complexity
  • Reverse engineering of a wide range of industrial automation equipment; delivering repairs and effecting improvements in functionality
  • Application of repair solutions to brushed and brushless servomotors
  • Development of test equipment and utilization of high end instrumentation
  • Preparation of technical quotations and close liaison with sales engineering in the tendering process
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the team
  • Maintain and enhance personal expertise and knowledge in own specialization

Key Experience

  • Minimum second class degree in automation or electronic engineering.
  • Experience in object – oriented programming and programmable logic controllers.
